Please understand that Thrive 316 is intended to be a trans-denominational discipleship medium. Our goal here is to grow closer to Christ and become more like him. It is intended to be helpful to people from a variety of backgrounds and traditions: ecumenical, evangelical, reformed, charismatic, Catholic, non-churched, and seeker. The author is a Baptist, and these biases will no doubt seep through: especially in the suggested reading lists. However, the author’s intention is to remain in the center of historic and orthodox Christianity while avoiding subjects that have divided us over the years. Thus, a genuine effort has been made to choose subjects and texts that unify and lead us all closer to Jesus.
