Gary Bulley grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, has been married to Cindy for 31 years, has four adult children, and currently lives in Cumming Georgia where he is the pastor of Living Stones Church.
Over the years Gary has demonstrated a unique ability to both encourage others to grow in their faith and equip leaders for successful ministry. Gary served as a Church Planter Strategist in Northern California where he recruited, equipped and coached dozens of church planters to start new churches. Gary is also the co-developer and co-director of the Nehemiah Project through the North American Mission Board that resulted in the planting of thousands of churches during the 2000s. Gary developed the training and curriculum used in the Nehemiah Project to equip students in seminaries and Bible colleges to plant successful churches across all of North America. Gary also developed an internet resource through the North American Mission Board called the Church Planting Village that encouraged and equipped countless church planters during the 2000s.
Most of Gary’s 30 years of ministry has been spent pastoring local churches and equipping people to follow Jesus. Gary passionately loves Jesus and desires others to know and follow the Jesus he serves. To this end Gary developed a set of study guides entitled ‘LifeSteps’ to help people grow in their faith. We are hopeful that ‘LifeSteps’ will soon be available through this website. Helping people know, love, and follow Jesus also motivated Gary to develop ‘Thrive 316.’ It is his hope and prayer that ‘Thrive 316’ will encourage and inspire you to explore biblical Christianity and grow in your relationship with God.
